Did you take out a mortgage on your home?
If so, do you deduct the interest on your taxes? (Government "handout" that is subsidizing your home ownership compared to renters)
If you took out a mortgage, was it sold to Fannie, Freddie or GinnieMae (or is it FHA insured) - government is subsidizing your interest rate
Just saying government "handouts" are more than social transfer payments to the indigent
