it is the first time in my entire life i have seen the sun from another planet. of course that statement is obvious, but when you step back and really think about it, it is completely mind blowing. what would people 100 years ago think about sitting on a computer and being able to look around on mars (literally).

what is also competely mind blowing is you get a great perspective of how much smaller the sun is as seen in the sky on a distant planet as opposed to the sun we see in our sky every day of our lives.

its like a completely different and new sun, but it is the same sun.

ok, i think im gonna go drop a few cubes of acid now and contemplate what this all means for me for the next 10-12 hours.
