I remember reading that a lot if the players in the Steelers just ASSUME that BB will "pull out a victory at the end of the game."
It's a double-edged sword, because they play less timid/less afraid to make mistakes, because they know that BB will most likely bail them out.
But... they also relax "too much" (just as you said).
