Not trying to take anything away from him, but I wonder where the press coverage came from. He NEVER pressed and always ran zones. I think Lake has done a lot withe DBs and I wonder if the press coverage came from Tomlin. He was a good secondary coach, like I said press was never part of DLs defense.

I noticed the same thing. But irregardless he made the adjustments necessary to save the season. To take Ben's analogy, if the '12 Steelers were a sinking ship, it was the defense that was plugging holes and pumping water out of the boat.
