That Mel Blount guy was absolutely terrible. He allowed Percy Howard to catch a touchdown pass on him in super bowl X. No true shutdown cornerback would ever give up a pass that nets positive yardage, much less a touchdown. How the hell did such a terrible cornerback force a rule change? Also, that Joe Greene guy was pretty bad himself. He didn't collapse the pocket/sack the quarterback on every single play. How did he get into the Hall of Fame? God, the Steelers have had such awful players throughout their history.
truth, don't even get me started on that bum rod woodson, who only intercepted 71 passes in his career, and only made the pro bowl 10 times out of 15 seasons. steelers need to make it every year or they're bums!
