I agree, losing Redman would be a mistake in my opinion. He's a great back-up runner who could be counted on to carry the ball in case of injuries. The inconsistent starting line-up for the offensive line this year and over the past few years has made it hard to really evaluate any of these RB's completely.
Add the Running back by committee failure to that and it makes it easy to blame Redman for not being a star RB, when talent wise he really isn't one to begin with.
