Round 3 - Bruce Davis OLB (Jermichael Finley, TE, Cliff Avril OLB)

Round 4 - Tony Hills (Josh Sitton OG)

Round 5 - Dennis Dixon QB (Carl Nicks OG)

Round 6a - Mike Humpal LB (Pierre Garcon WR)

Round 6b - Ryan Mundy S (Matt Flynn QB)

Round 7 - no selection (traded to Atlanta)
Honestly, when all the LT's went in the draft, I would have likely done this:

1. Brandon Flowers, CB (ran a somewhat slow 40, but some had him as the best CB in draft)
2. Jeremy Zuttah, OG/T (2nd Tier OT, but a mauler with good feet)
3. Cliff Avril (one of the favorite pass rushers at the draft)
4. Letroy Guyon (I thought was best value left at DE for us at the time)
5. Carl Nicks (mammoth OT who looked great at Senior Bowl and nickname IHOP )
6. Mike Hart RB (at this point I would have been looking RB or WR and Hart was so productive in the Big Ten.....guess it would have been a miss)

So really, I was thinking O line and D Line, but with all the good ones gone Flowers was BPA and Avril still on the board in the 3rd would have filled the need for pass rush depth. I thought he was a 2nd rounder. Some would say Zuttah was a reach and both Guyon and Hart were misses. My plan was Carl Nicks would play RT......but who knew.

I wanted guys like Jordy Nelson, Eddie Royal, Early Doucet, but we needed line help more and they were gone before I would have addressed that. Pretty sad that scouting off the TV was better than the Steelers staff that year.
