If you stuck with them through the Mark Malone, Bubby Brister, Mike Tomczak, Kordell Stewart years, you've paid your dues and have graduated to true fan status. If you'd have said you bounced around from winner to winner and back to the Steelers again once they turned it around and won another Super Bowl, then you would be a bandwagon fan.
Actually, you've been a fan longer than me. I jumped on when the Baltimore Colts split for Indy in 1983 and haven't looked back since. I missed all of the great 70s fun.
