Default Re: NHL players to take part in 2014 Olympics

Orientation camp is August 23-24. Here's links for the rosters for US, Canada, and Russia. You'll notice a couple of names missing who were there before. Bryz (for Russia), and Fleury and Brodeur for Canada (not surprised by any of these).

4 Pens will be in attendance for Canada (Crosby, Kunitz, Letang, and Neal). Bennett (congrats!), Martin, and Orpik will be there for the US, and Malkin for Russia.

The Swedes have a pretty wicked lineup going too. (link also contains projected roster for Sweden)

There also is no question Sweden will be loaded when it arrives in Sochi. The only country that can match the depth and star power among skaters is Canada, and it doesn't have Lundqvist.

The Swedish forwards are expected to be led by new NHL teammates Henrik Zetterberg and Daniel Alfredsson and longtime teammates Henrik Sedin and Daniel Sedin. There could be an infusion of speed and youth up front with Carl Hagelin, Gabriel Landeskog and Jakob Silfverberg in contention for roster spots to go along with stalwarts Nicklas Backstrom, Loui Eriksson and Johan Franzen.
