Q&A with Chris Hope
SAFETY CHRIS HOPE
As a kid, what did you like most about summer vacation and why?
I always thought summer was longer than what it really was. I now sit back and think about how you used to forget everything you learned in school over the summer. The best thing was just waking up and playing all day.
Did you like amusement parks or swimming pools? What did you like most about it?
Swimming pools. It made you feel free. I am from South Carolina and it gets really hot there. Getting in the swimming pool, feeling the water on your head and back, makes you feel good.
Did you play summer sports?
Not organized. Mostly pick up games. We rode bikes every day.
What is your favorite place to go for a summer vacation now?
Miami for sure.
Where are you going this summer for vacation?
Work out mostly. I don?t do a lot. I try to visit a new place each year. But mostly work out and train.
In the summertime are you laid back or stay on the go?
Laid back. Other than working out and spending time with my family I just travel some.
Are video games a must have or a no thanks?
When I was smaller I liked them, but now the games get so confusing with all of those joy sticks and buttons and I don?t get into it too much.
What is one of the last movies that you saw? Thumbs up or thumbs down?
The movie Saw and I give it a thumbs up.
What is your favorite all-time movie?
Anything with Chris Tucker in it.
What is your favorite CD that you have on your iPod?
What are your ?must see? television shows?
It used to be Martin, but now BET or Rap City, just watching videos. I also like to watch the re-runs of Sanford and Son.
Who is one athlete ? past or present ? that you would pay to see play a sport?
