That's a combined 42 catches for 632 yards and 3 TDs against All Pro receivers. All I can say is I'm thankful he didn't have to go up against Antonio Brown this year. It could have been ugly.
Calvin Johnson had a monster 2nd quarter. He didn't do anything else the other 3 quarters. Josh Gordon was literally running free all over the field and picking up junk yardage. You're also leaving out the time Green got shut down in his first game against the Steelers for only 41 yards.
I'm not saying Ike hasn't lost a step or that Cortez Allen isn't more athletic and a better playmaker at this point, but for most of last season and until Allen steps up next season, Ike is our best chance at shutting down the opponents top receiver and he usually does a good job.
When the Steelers go up against AJ Green/ Josh Gordon/ Torrey Smith next year, I feel pretty confident in Taylor's ability to keep them under 100 yards easily if he has safety help.
