Default Re: Former head coach Cowher: Steelers tried stealing signals, too

Every team tries to steal the other teams signals. Every single team.

The Taperiots used to tape the walk-throughs (which is the top fifteen plays that a team is likely to run on its opening drives).

In fact, Mike Holmgren used to script the exact plays that he'd call on the first two drives. Then, the team would practice those exact plays, in that exact order. Many teams did this (although, not to the same extent that Holmgren did).

And... if the Taperiots had tapes of teams running those plays (which is the issue... not the stealing of signals), then the Taperiots had an unfair advantage.
