Yep - retaining your free agents has worked out so well in baseball for small market teams

NFL TV $$$ do not result in a level playing field - Cowboys franchise is worth $2.3 billion and had operating income of $250 million in 2013 - Steelers franchise is worth $1.1 billion and had operating income of $28.3 million
