I had these same thoughts about Ebron early in the process--use him as a WR early as he develops more inline strength to become an all around TE. I had Ebron as #1 on my board as he did provide the tall WR and depth at TE-still is a solid round 1 option. However, I have evolved to thinking Pitt needs defensive playmakers. If a CB/LB/ or even DL are higher rated prospects, than I would go defense early and often. My backup option is to select TE Lynch from GA-he is the more traditional TE-but he can jump and catch. Would provide the same idea, but with a little less athleticism and speed. If there are no sure starters for defense in round #1, I would go Ebron.
