It still bums me out that he didn't accept the Steelers offer last year. He's still a great player, at least in our system, and he's still probably better than anything we've got at OLB - at least for now. On the other hand, at least for once the Steelers were forced to play a defensive draft choice before his third or fourth year.
It's too bad that his pride got in the way, but I certainly understand his feelings. He did spend a lot of years here being overlooked, playing for a salary below what he deserved.
It's just a shame all around. I hope he lands somewhere good.
