There aren't a lot of saviors in FA and they aren't positioned to get a 'franchise' QB in this draft.
So they're making moves to tread water another couple of years in which time they hopefully develop something cohesive.
It's sincerely doubtful that they're making these moves with the thought process of 'Lombardi bound'.
