My family is from Pittsburgh and are all Steelers fans. I grew up in Brighton, MA right outside of Boston. But still ended up a Steeler fan due to the family connection to Pittsburgh.

Can't say that I've ever been to a regular season Steelers game. I'd like to change that this next season but I can't say for sure that'll happen.
