I think it's a good move on the Steelers part only because Worlid's is still unproven. One late year push in the lineup in a contract make or break situation to perform is a start, not a finalization. The Steelers are simply waiting it out and putting a close eye on JW and his production to see how he handles one full years worth of anchoring down the left side of the linebacking core. If he proves he wasn't a half-year wonder, we'll offer the longterm contract next off-season.
