Hopefully he can play in that 3rd pre-season game and get significant playing time with the starters. Nothing can emulate NFL speed and being in that spotlight than actually going out there and getting your feet wet so I'm hoping Shazier can be ready come week 1 VS Cleveland. There's a slight level of discomfort with Shazier not seeing the field at this time in a crucial period for not only the young guys, but projected first round starters in a complex defense. Good thing Spence is looking good, though. Having him healthy at this point is a Godsend.
this is something that is looming large IMO - I can't stand him not being in there (I understand though) - he and more importantly the team is losing out by him not being in there
I've said it once before - no one should be shocked if Spence is in there Wk 1. That doesn't mean he stays, but - we have had recent history of downplaying injuries
