My concern with signing Law was that guys like McFadden, Colclough, and Taylor get pushed down a notch on the depth chart. A healthy Law is probably better than any of those guys (at this point). But those three guys also have the potential to be the future for the Steelers. Law would have signed a one year deal with us and that was it. We didn't have the money available and that's what Law and the Postons were after all along.
It'll be interesting to see the breakdown of the contract. Whether Law is healthy or not, the Lions appear to be on the way up IMO. Harrington has to improve as far as his consistency goes (TDs v. INTs) but if he gets it together, they could be a team to challenge Philly in the NFC.
