i liked what ike had to say to the media the past month or so and i took his comments to be genuinely sincere. hes smart enough to know he could probably have gotten $30-40 million from the partiots or redskins after this season. like he said though he wants to be a steeler and told his agent to get it done.
im not worried about getting ben and troy signed. it will happen. look at the many mega deals the bengals, seahawks, colts, redskins have been able to sign. hell the seahawks offered deion branch a mega deal after shelling out about $40 million for burleson. the steelers are much more fiscally responsible.
