Default Re: Steelers v.s. Bucanneers Gameday Thread

I still expect the Steelers to beat poor NFC opposition no matter how badly they have played this season.

The Tampa Bay running game poses no threat (rank 29) and their pass offense is just as anaemic (rank 29, also) so the Steelers should have a solid day at the office.

Tampa is a mid rank team at rush D, and Willie is at home - so I expect 100+ yds today from him.

There could be a few turnovers today - Pittsburgh are ranked dead last with -12 differental and Tampa not much better with a -8 season so far.

Steelers 17 Tampa 3

They've been great for a while now, three Super Bowls' worth of great. But only this season have the New England Patriots become The Show, the must-see team of stars, pretty boys and reformed bad boys. Suddenly, the Patriots are not simply great; they're compelling, fascinating, appearing to be almighty and a touch lawless.
The Patriots didn't bother with swagger to start this NFL season; they went straight to defiant. Either you're one of them or you're about to get crushed.
