My 7 Round Mock Draft
1a . LaMarr Woodley DE/OLB Mich 6-2 270
An absolute beast, enormous frame. Plays hard and fast with a mean streak. Is a DE/OLB tweener, much like Shawne Merriman was coming out of college, who I believe is the NFL player he resembles the most.
1b Adam Carriker De 6-6 255 Nebraska
This guy was a monster at the Senior Bowl. Carriker is as good as advertised for 3-4 teams, but don't know if he suits us if we try to go a different direction. Where he gets drafted is anyone's guess because he's clearly valued higher by 3-4 teams than 4-3 teams. He could go as high as #11 to San Francisco or as low as round
2nd James Marten B. C. Ot 6-7 307
Was moved from guard to tacle so can play both. Has good size with long arms and a big frame that he can bulk up further...Tough, physical and aggressive...Has good balance...He makes terrific use of his hands and locks on pretty well...Gets a solid push...Versatile...Smart and a hard worker.
3rd Tony Hunt Penn St. RB
The guy is a beast loved him at Penn st. Has great size with a solid frame...Displays outstanding balance...A strong and powerful runner who will deliver a blow and fall forward...Has good hands and can help out in the passing game...A reliable blocker...Durable and the type who gets stronger as the game goes on...Was very productive throughout his career.
4th Oscar Lua USC ILB
This guys stock is rising from what i read and the SC defense is always swarming.
5th Sergio Gilliam DB Clemson 6-3 185 4.5/40
Big tall DB can muscle big WRS..and has some speed.
6th Mark Fenton C Colorado 6-4 295
With the rumor of hartings retiring this would be a nice pick up and fits the mold.
7th Aaron Fairooz WR 6-6 215 Central Arkansas
Would be a nice redzone compliment to holmes/ward/wilson/reid
