Default Re: Brown: Steelers study first-round options

Now, obviously 1st 2nd 3rd and 4th round picks are very important and I think that the first 2 can make or break your draft sometimes, but there is alot of great talent found in the later rounds of every draft. Its just being fortunate enough to get the right player at the right time. Remember, Willie Parker wasnt even drafted.. he rushed for over 1,400 yards this past year and went to the pro-bowl. Just emagine what kind of stats he would have had if he could have averaged 80 or so yards on the road this past year. His away performances must improve some how and I think that is where Offensive Linemen come to mind in the upcoming draft and I think that it is time to take the step in the right direction with someone like Levi Brown, I just hope that he last until 15th because I dont see the Steelers trading up to get him. O-Line is where the running game starts and finishes..we have our back now it is just time to make the holes for him to run through. Then we'll talk about Defense..
