A recipe that was my great-grandma's. It's kind of a German Family thing, but it's really really good. It's meant to feed a large number of people, so don't be surprised if the size is large.
1 tsp baking powder
1 doz eggs
2 loaves of cubed bread
2 lbs slab bacon cubed (or thick sliced)
4 big 1 inch slice ham cubed
Enough water to make texture of sticky stuffing
(optional) ground pepper(add to taste)
13 x 9 oblong glass dish
Cut up bread and put in a large bowl. Add Eggs(2 at a time) and fluff with hands. Add baking powder and pepper and fluff again. Add bacon and Ham and add water slowly until moist. Spray dish with Pam Cooking Spray and take a wet cloth and pat down. Bake at 350degrees for 1 hr uncovered. Suck up juices with baster and distribute all over.
