Good point... Jeff Reed has been playing great for a couple seasons now and he is becoming a "clutch" kicker. He is a game winning kick in a post-season game away from becoming recognized as one of the best kickers in the NFL.
BUT!!! Why can't he kick it into the end-zone on kickoffs?
He is like the only kicker in the NFL who doesn't, and it hurt us at the end of the Patriot game.
I wonder if Cowher has him kick them high to allow coverage to get down there... after one game I read where he was praising Reed because three of the opponents drives started inside the 20 yard line. I thought it was odd because I just figured you boot it deep and let them take it at the 20.
