I agree with you. Thats why with my page I have it set up so that only my friends can see my profile. I have the rule of thumb of, if I dont know you...I wont add you. All the people I have listed as friends are actual friends from high school, college, and from after college. You have to be safe. Its insane how many times I get friend requests from people right out of the blue, who Ive never heard of or met. Its really kinda disturbing.

Like I said, I have a page and I like it to keep in touch with people. Its a lot easier then email, and its good to keep in touch with real friends so you can see whats going on in eachothers lives. By no means am i defending the kiddie porn people, or the child molestors that have come from MySpace. But I do think it is a useful tool. I think it all comes down to responsible people making responsible, grown up decisions.
