The Penguins' Michel Therrien was a finalist for the Jack Adams Award, given to the Coach of the Year, but that went to Alain Vigneault of Vancouver.
Let me get this straight. We have a guy who completely turned this hockey team around taking it from one of the worst in the league to one of the premier teams in the league in a one year span while having the second youngest team in the league and they give the Jack Adams Award to Vigneault?
