Default Re: Memory Lane 1995 - Lindys Football annual

wow. another great article and thread. erhardt took alot of heat for the meltdown of a. hastings and n. odonnel in a sb where we were completely handing the ass to a team that was put on the same level as the 49ers or steelers dynasties.

people forget that the in game adjustments during sb XXX were some of the finest ever seen to turn the tides of a game.

this article proves cowher definitely knew how to pick coaching talent. (please... no ray sherman or k. gilbride jokes).

like you pointed out, i definitely see tomlin taking the same approach where he is not afraid to surround himself with coaching veterans and learn something new.

posts like these are what this board is all about. thanks aussie!

(weird to think what woulda happened with shanahan as a coordinator. we mightve brought in montana but never made the deal for jerome bettis.... or we coulda done both!)
