Bad cats: Bengals growling again

Von Oelhoffen remembers the bad old days. It wasn't just that the Bengals could not produce a winning season. They had trouble winning at all. During that 14-season stretch, they were 2-14 once, 3-13 four times and 4-12 twice. The Steelers haven't lost as many as 12 games in a season since 1970 and the Bengals did it seven times since '91.
