I don't think she's suing because she's black, I think she's suing because that's the culture we live in. If you have even an outside chance to make fat cash for nothing, you take it.
As for the NBC/MSNBC/Imus settlement, the important thing is that he's allowed back on the air. They both sued each other, and Imus already had a lucrative contract in place. He should be rewarded his contractually obligated salary because he was fired for nonsensical reasons.
