After Bryan "Bugsy" Watson, the closest thing we have had to a Scott Stevens type defenseman was Ulf Samuelsson. Kasparatis put out some nice checks, but he took himself out of position more times than not. As much as he was loved in this city by some fans, he was not a smart defenseman (IMO). Then again, those same fans are probably the ones who cried when Ian freakin' Moran left (because he was so nice).

I miss a smart, solid, hard hitting defensive defenseman.
