See, there was a reason. Since they put it like that, now I see why he shot six innocent people. Completely understandable. His brother and her son is the victim here.

I'd like to think they are making thous statements in denial of what he did. I don't know though, it may be hard for them to accept what he did and they are trying to reason it.
