Default Fans, Penguins Raise Over $85,000 for Lemieux Foundation
Pittsburgh Penguins fans helped the team raise more then $85,000 for the Mario "Lemieux Foundation by coming to Mellon Arena to watch road games on the Jumbotron during the 2008 Stanley Cup Finals.

Admission was $5, with all proceeds going to the Lemieux Foundation for cancer research and neonatal research.

TicketMaster waived all service charges and fees to assist the fund-raising process, and parking was free in arena lots on those nights.

“Thank you, again, to our fans for their amazing support, and for their contribution to a great local charity,” Penguins president David Morehouse said."

I was at the games in the arena for the price of 5 dollars to be with thousands of crazy diehard pens fans and to raise money for charity it was amazing! I hope they do it again when we are in the cup again next year!
