Default The Home Stretch...

This is it. A few weeks. A handful of meaningful games. This week is pretty tame, but it heats up quickly in the following weeks.

BYU-Utah in the battle of undefeated non-BCS teams that would get killed in a NC game. Still, the winner gets an at-large, so...

Texas Tech-Oklahoma very good match-up...TT winning has the fast track to the NCG if they can get past Missouri in the conference championship game. OU has a harder path.

Florida-SC I'm including this because of the Spurrier factor, but how long can the C ocks get traction out of that? Florida is in the Swamp, too.

Oklahoma-Oklahoma State just a brutal schedule for the Sooners. If they can win out they are the most deserving representative for the big game. Tall task though.

Bama-Auburn Yeah, yeah, Auburn sucks, but this is a rivalry, and Auburn has talent. Alabama is not explosive and the Tigers still play D. Think Auburn wouldn't sell their souls to knock Bama out of the title hunt in the Iron Bowl?

Conference Champs of the SEC and Big 12 will almost certainly be the two teams in the big game. USC is still there, of course, but I don't see that happening.
