Good point Cleve . . . I think there's maybe 2 years (3 at a push tho could be just 1!) left in Chad - so sign him for 2 years (incentive laden low basic and SB), give him a fair chance to compete and may the best man win . . . if someone goes down we have then 2 capable backups from Harrison, Brown, Foote, Haggans (whoever didnt start). THen we've got to hope NE don't offer him more (I still think that's where he'll probably end up - most reckon they are THE team to win the SB much as I'd disagree!)
