Default Harrison and Holmes coming to Harrisburg Mall

http://blog.pennlive.com/fanbox/2009...s_with_ha.html

No one could have been much happier Monday morning, at least in Steelers Nation, than the folks over at the Harrisburg Mall.

They already scheduled a sports card show for Feb. 20-22 that included former NFLers John Cappelletti and Paul Horning on the 21st, and Steelers James Harrison and Santonio Holmes on the 22nd. Then came the Super Bowl where both played a prominent part in the victory; Harrison had that outrageous run for a score after intercepting a pass right before halftime, and Holmes stretched and made an amazing catch to win the game in the final minute.

Holmes, a wide receiver and the Super Bowl's Most Valuable Player, will sign autographs in the lower level of the mall from noon to 2:15 p.m. Harrison, a linebacker and the league's defensive player of the year, will sign autographs from 2:15 to 4:30 p.m.
There is a $35 fee for each of their autographs plus a $10 inscription fee.

In a related matter, Sports Business Daily today picked up a CNBC.com interview with Harrison's agent, Bill Parise, indicating that the linebacker already had "a lot of deals set up prior to the Super Bowl." Parise: "He was coming off a Pro Bowl year, he just won Defensive Player of the Year, so last night didn't monumentally change the plan."

But CNBC.com's Darren Rovell noted Harrison's performance in the game "will certainly give things that Harrison is lending his name to a nice boost." Parise said that Harrison "has a deal with PLB Sports to make a signature line of cereal and peanut butter."

Parise said that the company is "working on Harrison's 'Crunch' cereal boxes now and they'll hit the market in the next couple weeks," while the peanut butter "will debut in the summer before training camp."

A book on Harrison, co-authored by Pittsburgh Post-Gazette writer Bill Moushey, also will be coming out this summer.
