Hey there, yes yet another SteelerNation from Mexico!
I am so sure Steelers are not "Americas Team" but the "Worlds Team"
I been a Steeler Fan since I was 5, but the Steelers were not the 1st team I saw, there was a game with the colts and this was 1974-76 maybe, and like a toddler I loved horses so I had a really good feel for them, the next game I saw (my 2nd game perhaps) I saw the Bills, and I really liked the logo and that guy running all over the place.
But then they started talking about the Steelers (the translation in Spanish of steelers resembles the word "accelerate" or "to accelerate" and the thing I liked the most at my young days was to run, run, run and accelerate and of course also vampires, not really warewolfs, vampires.
So when this guy, "The Count" comes in, and he really looked nasty, and those guys on black and gold are crushing the other guys like they were flies. I said this is me, this is my team. I am an "Acerero" because I really like running faster and faster each time I do it.
My father was a Raider at the time I think, and several relatives Cowboys, (do I get penalized for sayin "cowbows" on this blog, man!)
Note. LOL I dont really know what I said or tought then, or what span of time really happened, but this is true, when I saw that Steeler team on T.V. there was no more favorite team changing.
BTW, this seems not only a great Steeler place but a nice place to blog back and forth. I saw the welcome you gave to a fellow Mexican Steeler thats cool.
