Default Hi from the Bayou

New member here. Thanks to Bestbank Tiger for providing the link and the invitation.

I was born and raised in Uniontown, PA. I am 48 years old, married with three kids.

I have been living in Baton Rouge, LA since August 1983. I went to LSU Law School then and have been an insurance defense lawyer here since 1987.

I have been a Steelers fans since the mid Sixties. I recall the Bill Austin teams playing in Pitt Stadium. My first Steelers heroes were Big Ben McGee and Roy Jefferson.

I recall the bad ole days of Bobby Campbell, Kent Nix, **** Shiner and guys like that.

These are great days to be a Steelers fan and I cannot wait until next Sunday.

I recall sitting in Three Rivers Stadium in January, 1980 watching the Steelers beat Houston to win the AFC Championship on their way to winning their fourth Super Bowl in six years.

I was 22 years old and thought this was the way it always would be.........26 years later, stilling waiting and hoping for the day that Pittsburgh would win that fifth Super Bowl victory.

Next Sunday will be that day. Looking forward to being on this board and Go Steelers.
