A light rain surprised the Steelers during their morning minicamp practice yesterday, held outdoors because the weatherman predicted no such precipitation.
Nothing, though, could chase the smile off the face of Kendall Simmons, who believes the dark clouds that followed him the past two years have scattered.
"I'm excited right now," said Simmons, the team's first-round draft choice in 2002. "You'll never hear me complain about practice because I've been out for a year and I see what I missed."
