Wow.......... the Pens had over 25k more fans in attendance and still came in under what was spent for the Steelers........... and what was spent on the Steelers was still less then what they were predicting for LA's Victory Parade for the Lakers.
Pittsburgh is showing the rest of the country how it's done "right"!

PITTSBURGH -- City officials said the Pittsburgh Penguins Stanley Cup victory parade on June 15 cost the city less money even though it drew more fans than a parade celebrating the Steelers' Super Bowl XLIII win in February.
City officials estimate 375,000 fans turned out for the Penguins parade, which cost the city about $72,600, including regular and overtime pay for police, and Public Works expenses.
The Penguins beat the Detroit Red Wings in Game 7 of the Stanley Cup finals to capture their third Stanley Cup.
