Absolutely FANTASTIC deal for the Pens. Provided that McKee stays healthy, he will give the Pens a much-needed and legit physical presence on the blue line for the 6th pairing. And even if he doesn't stay healthy, it's only 800K - not exactly "Glass Groin Gabby"-type money. I guess since the Blues bought him out for over $2 million, he could afford to take less to play for a winner. |

If they can get 60 games out of McKee and let Lovejoy/Strait/whoever play the other 20 that should work well.
