A couple years ago, I posted that I met a real hero. http://www.forums.steelersfever.com/...ad.php?t=13294
My wife received an email today that he was in reconstructive surgery based on the injury, and died.
I only met the man once, but still feel a sense of loss.
I can fathom what it is like to get him home from war still alive after that, and then, two years later, to have that same war reach out and snatch his life away.
As I posted in the first thread, the vietnam war snatched my father's life away 10 years after the fact (leukemia from the Agent Orange).
What a sad day for that family. In truth what a sad day in America that one of our hero's had died.
Please pray for the family of Ryan.
