Default Re: Steeler free agents

This is certainly the biggest hurdle - keeping a SB winning squad together and trying to add replacement parts seamlessly.

One thing that stand the team in good stead is the fact that they dont sign players who are the type to run off for a few dollars extra elsewhere - however, a few players will probably be offered ALOT more money and will find it hard to turn down.

I can only imagine that some teams want to prove that they can make it with another less talented team - to prove to their ego that they are really that good.

On the plus side - some top-notch veterans may select Pittsburgh as their next stop if they have got to the stage of valuing success over dollars.

They've been great for a while now, three Super Bowls' worth of great. But only this season have the New England Patriots become The Show, the must-see team of stars, pretty boys and reformed bad boys. Suddenly, the Patriots are not simply great; they're compelling, fascinating, appearing to be almighty and a touch lawless.
The Patriots didn't bother with swagger to start this NFL season; they went straight to defiant. Either you're one of them or you're about to get crushed.
