I just found out that my dad has a tumor in one of his kidneys. It's treatable and to our knowledge the cancer is only in that one kidney, so hopefully we can just remove the bad kidney and take the cancer with it. That said, I've seen enough friends relatives go through (and eventually die from) cancer so I don't want to get too optimistic. If you could keep him in your thoughts and prayers I would greatly appreciate it.
