PITTSBURGH, PAŚ The Steelers mistakes cost them in this game -- dearly.
The Steelers were lucky enough to not of lost this game 31-17 but due to the class of the Texans they decided to take the victory kneels instead of rushing in for a touchdown on the two yard line.
"We didn't play well enough" commented Mike Tomlin. "We can't use injuries as an excuse this time around we did simply not play at a championship calibre level we can and were playing at"
The Steelers were looking to go into the half 10-7 but Matt Shaub brought them back for a field goal.
"It's dissapointing you know we were working had but they were still making the plays" Said Safety Ryan Clark.
The Passing game isn't getting teared up like it was last year in a Meat Shredder and the Run Defense is only giving up 50 yards per game.
"Execution" said Dick Lebeau. The Steelers have one of the most talented rosters in the league and have only given up 17 sacks.
There still leading their division 6-3 and are ahead of the (5-4) Ravens who they face in 3 weeks time.
Out of there next four games, three are on the road. Steeler Nation prepare yourself another losing streak may come back to haunt the Steelers if they don't finish games off.
Pittsburgh Steelers First Round Choice Rashard Mendenhall plowed in for his first touchdown of the season. ... Wide Reciever Hines Ward has dislocated his elbow and will be placed on the Injured Reserve list.
