Re: 2010 NFL Draft Thread
Georgia Tech RB Jonathan Dwyer and USC tight end Anthony McCoy failed NFL Scouting Combine drug tests, according to Fox Sports.
This may sound worse than it actually is for both prospects. Dwyer's positive test was reportedly "triggered by a prescription medication that Dwyer has NFL clearance to use for a pre-existing condition." It's not expected to affect his draft status. McCoy tested positive for marijuana, something that is nothing new for potential draft picks.
"We're not going to turn our backs on him," Ward said. "We're going to treat him like our brother. We're going to accept him back and be very supportive of him and help him get through this. In this locker room, he's still our quarterback."
