I say first ballot for sure. It's not just the stats, which he has. He is and was a character, he won it all and went out on top, and in his hometown, no less. The whole storybook aspect to it will push him over the top.
Speaking of Bettis memories, does everyone remember his first game against the Rams as a Steeler? That was a thing of beauty. There was fancy footwork and raw power, just bowling people over. He was running like a man possessed. Nice. If anyone finds clips, please link here.
