very cool. i did alot of painting in HS, and worked alot with portraits (in charcoal) afterwards. the likeness of the close up is real nice. the shading, depth, and highlights are really good as well.

im sure you have noticed his arm is bent at a physically impossible angle, but those things are easilly worked out.

painting or drawing in 2D on a 3D surface is quite a challenge, and this kicks ass for your 1st attempt.

cant wait to see more.
