Break the season into quarters. If a team goes 3-1 each quarter they will win the division and probably have home field advantage in the playoffs.
The Steelers went 3-1 in the first quarter and 3-1 in the second quarter. They are starting the third quarter out 0-1 so they have to win the next three straight.
The Raiders and Bills games are certainly games they can win. Then they'll have a "must win" game at Baltimore. At the worst they could/should be 2-2 this quarter (but a loss to Baltimore really takes them out of the AFC North picture).
The last four games are Cincinnati at home, the Jets at home, the Panthers at home, and the Browns on the road.
So they could be or should be 11-4 or 10-5 going into Cleveland.
